PugJobs isn't a side project or an experiment — it's real, and it exists because I needed it myself.

In 2022 I moved to Ireland chasing a role that would sponsor my visa. I spent months applying through LinkedIn and every job board I could find, getting deep into interview processes before hearing the same sentence: "unfortunately, we don't sponsor visas." Nobody told me upfront — I was wasting weeks on companies that were never actually an option.

So we built the tool I wish had existed back then: a job board that checks sponsorship before you spend a single minute applying. PugJobs is real listings, checked for real, built by someone who's actually been on the other side of the visa question.
